Biography

Dina Pino is a Canadian-born Actor and Alumna of the renowned comedic theatre, The Second City Theatre Touring Company in Toronto, with upwards of 2000 performances as a Lead in the National Touring Company, Mainstage Understudy and Leads in Tony & Tina's.

She may be familiar, having Lead Roles in more than 50 U.S. and Canadian commercials such as Tide, Walmart, Toyota, Rogers, Canadian Tire, Maple Leaf, Casino Rama, CIBC, Co-operators and many more.

Dina is a Mother of two and often plays the "Totally Frazzled Mom" as in her Guest Role in 'Fir Crazy' (Hallmark Channel USA) and recurring appearances on 'Odd Squad' (PBS/TVO). Other TV credits include Guest Actor Roles on 'What We Do In The Shadows' (FX), 'The Prandeeps of Pittsburgh' (Amazon Prime), 'Bria Mack Gets A Life' (Crave/CTV/Bell Media), 'Workin' Moms' (CBC), 'Train 48' (10 episodes, Global), Lead Farcical News Correspondent on 'The Truth About' (CBC), guest appearances on 'The Newsroom' (CBC), and more.

Raised in Montreal, Canada, Dina attended Riverdale High School where her specialization in acting began. She received a B.A. Communications & Television Production from Concordia University where she was an Actor, Writer, Producer in many of her productions. Two shorts of which she was Co-Creator/Writer/Producer, were Official Selections in the Montreal International Film Festival Student Competition. After completing University, Dina moved to Toronto to pursue a steadily growing acting career, while studying with various acting studios, including The Second City Conservatory Program, the Pro Actor's Lab, and others. She was a selected Ensemble Cast Member of the exclusive Banff Centre's Women in the Director's Chair. Dina continually combines her Acting and Production skills, pitching prize winning TV shows such as; 'The Dessert Club' - Winner of Women In Film & Television development grant; and 'Celine Poutine' - Finalist Innoversity Summit.

Dina resides in Toronto, Canada.
