Biography

Maria Mägdefrau was born on June 10, 1936 in Berlin, Germany. She is an actress, known for Marie-Luise (2020), Großstadtrevier (1986) and Henrico's Farm.

Received her acting training from 1954 to 1959 at the Staatliche Schauspielschule Berlin. First on stage at the Theater der Altmark in Stendal between 1957 and 1959.

In 1992, co- founded (with her sister Anna) the "Mägdefrauentheater" at the Kumuli Art School in Berlin-Wilmersdorf, staging plays for children.
