Biography

Shahir Raj is an Indian actor and director working in Hindi and Bengali Cinema known for his acting performances in Jazz City (2026), Mukhosh (2021), Jaisalmer Jomjomat (2025), Haami 2 (2022), Abar Proloy (2023), Pariah (2024), and Khakee: The Bengal Chapter (2025) among others. His upcoming movies include Get Up Kingshuk where he plays the lead role of Kingshuk. He has also acted in the web series Banglar Shera Bhooter Golpo (2024) playing the character Bishu based on a popular Bengali horror story. He received immense critical acclamation for his role in 1947: Onno Gaaner Bhor (2024) where he had portrayed the character of a boy with cerebral palsy. He has recently played the lead role in the Zee Bangla promo of Dance Bangla Dance (2025). As a filmmaker, he has written and directed the movie Mother Does Not Feel the Death Anymore (2025).
