Cash Robinson is a writer, filmmaker, and actor from Dalton, Georgia. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia Franklin School of Arts and Sciences. He is the owner of Georgia-based production company "Doodlebug Productions" and a founding member of the film blog-turned-production company "Scrawls on Cinema". Cash Robinson is a filmmaker from Georgia, whose work combines gripping drama, grotesque comedy, and plainspoken sincerity. Blending idiosyncratic characterization, baroque stylization, and existential absurdity, Cash tells stories centered on the hidden dreams, obsessive fears, and impossible schemes of ordinary people in an America that is ever-tilting towards the surreal.

His 2025 feature film, "Nobody Wants to Be Here, Nobody Wants to Leave", written by Caleb Samples, premiered at the 2025 Austin Film Festival and screened at the New Orleans International Film Festival and the Bahamas International Film Festival, where the film won the New Visions Grand Jury Award for Emerging Filmmakers. The film is also an official selection of the 2026 Saimaa Film Festival in Imatra, Finland.

Cash is the owner of the Georgia-based production company "Doodlebug Productions". He was also a founding member of the film blog-turned-indie-production company "Scrawls on Cinema," which produced numerous short films. Scrawls on Cinema additionally produced one feature film, the 2022 micro-budget videotape road drama "Uncle Honker", which Cash wrote and directed.

Cash holds a BA in Film Studies and an MFA in Screenwriting, both from the University of Georgia. He lives in Berlin, Germany.
