Biography

Julisa Marcel is a writer, director, and producer with an MFA in Creative Writing. She’s an alum of the OYA Emerging Filmmakers Program, The Hollywood Reporter’s Women in Entertainment Mentorship Program, and BSO’s Shadow a Showrunner initiative. When she’s not on set or working full-time as a content writer and editor, Julisa can usually be found "researching" (aka devouring teen fiction, tearing through fantasy novels, and binge-watching more reality TV than she’ll ever publicly admit).
