Biography

Aniruddha Gupta is an Indian actor who is predominantly known for working in films and TV series. Raised in Kolkata, he started his acting journey at a very young age during his academic years.

The versatile artist found himself absolutely immersed by the lure of the arts, theatre, cinema, music and literature. Soon, he made a foray into acting and started getting significant work in a short span of time.

Aniruddha played the role of protagonist in the highly-acclaimed series which include Rajneeti and Abar Rajneeti for Hoichoi. Besides this, he featured as the antagonist in Srijit Mukherji's Bhushawrgo Bhoyonkar. This was followed by Ronkini Bhavan for Zee5 Bangla as one of the lead characters.

Aniruddha also appeared as one of the leads in a film produced by Anjan Dutt and directed by Neel Dutt called Biye Fiye Niye, which had its international premiere in Paris and Indian premiere in Iffi Goa. The film is slated to release soon.

Recently, he acted in Jazz City, portraying one of the lead characters named Michael on SonyLiv. It was directed by Soumik Sen and trended at the second number for SonyLiv.
