Biography

Ionan is a visual artist specialized in the world of lighting. Borned in Pamplona-Iruña, Spain, currently residing between Pamplona and Madrid.

Since 2013, entering the world of design and graphic production, he has worked in different processes that compose it until he discovered his creative side in it. Creativity was what pushed him to take a different step in parallel and enter the audiovisual world.

He understands each audiovisual project as a challenge and that constant innovation and creation pushed him to train as such at the Madrid Film Institute with the Diploma in Director of Photography in 2018.

Since then he has had the privilege of being part of wonderful film crews. Highlighting projects carried out with professionals DOPs such as Javier Aguirre, Scott Peck, Stefan Ciupek, Miguel Roldán, Gonzalo Berridi, Marcos del Villar, etc. and Gaffers tales as Txemari Areizaga, Gorka Zudaire, Peru Herrero, Isaias Ibañez, Daniel Parrilla, Miguel Velasco, William Spruytte, Chris Bock, etc. In addition to fiction films, series, commercials and music clips from different artists. Working in a few as a Gaffer and in many of them as a light technician (Spark).
