Biography

Arnaldo (Nano) Bruno was born on April 8, 1996 in Caracas, Venezuela. Raised by his mother and grandparents, he developed an interest in cinema and the arts from a very young age, when his father took him to the movies every Sunday. Started in acting but discovered over time that he could create stories and tell them under his own gaze. He wrote short stories, but he would not touch a camera until he emigrated to Santiago Delaware Chile, where he studied Audiovisual and Multimedia Communications at the University of the Americas; culminating his studies in 2021 obtaining the highest honors in his career, where he also had the opportunity to be a tutor in the fields of Script and Direction of video clips.

In his first year of studies, he wrote his first nano-length film, El traje azules (2018), which would win second place at the Euro Film Festival in Chile. For his second year, he would not be left behind, he participated with several of his colleagues in the 48hrs film festival again in the director's chair he presented José (2019), a short film that would win the public's favorite and would go through different festivals around the world. ; Already for his last year of career he wrote and directed his degree project, Volver a casa (2021) that has reached festivals throughout the Americas.

In addition to directing and writing screenplays, he has also served as a producer on television shows, brand photographer, creative director, and novelist.

They reside in Santiago the Chile with his wife.
