Michael Cecchinelli previously ran a commercial flooring business in Seattle, Washington for 16 years before pursuing his dream as a full-time filmmaker. And starting Solveig Pictures LLC, to honor the memory of his late mother - Ellen Solveig Bakke.

And as the majority owner of his previous company, he was also the sole person in charge of all finances and legal documents for the company, that was averaging $8 million in sales per year.

Now, with two feature films completed. He's already won the award for Best Director, for both of his films - 'Rose,' and 'Recluse.' And an award for Best Writer for 'Recluse' as well.
