Vida Ghaffari has been active on the Tinsel town scene as an award-winning actress and voiceover artist. This acting powerhouse is best known for her appearances on the television comedies, Mind of Mencia on Comedy Central, Jimmy Kimmel Live on ABC and The Mindy Project formerly on FOX. She was featured in Variety for her movie, Eternal Code, which she co-stars alongside Scout Taylor-Compton (Rob Zombie's Halloween), Richard Tyson (There's Something About Mary), and Billy Wirth (The Lost Boys). These projects cap off a number of successes for the versatile starlet. She also starred in Space Sharks with Academy Award nominee Eric Roberts (The Dark Knight) and Scott Schwartz (A Christmas Story) and another film with Bai Ling (The Crow) and Tom Sizemore (Saving Private Ryan) called Mega Ape. This highly regarded actress also starred in Hybristophilia with Quinton Aaron (The Blind Side).
She also starred alongside Oscar nominee and Golden Globe winner Sally Kirkland in the Woman in the Room. Vida also starred in the true life drama Finding Nicole opposite Sean Whalen (Twister) and Richard Tyson (Black Hawk Down). More recently Vida has starred opposite pop culture icon Butch Patrick (The Munsters) in the animated film The House on Halloween Hill.
A noted voiceover artist as well, Vida also has a recurring role in the 3 time Peabody award nominated Suspense Show on XM satellite.
Vida is also active in a number of charities and has hosted many charitable events. She has been bestowed acting, voice over, and community service awards by The City of Los Angeles, The California State Assembly, The West Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce, The Panorama City Chamber of Commerce, The World Networks, The Los Angeles Nollywood Film Association, The Universe Multicultural Film Festival, The WIND International Film Festival, and the Lucky Strike Film Festival among other festivals and organizations. Vida was also the first person of Iranian descent to be inducted into the esteemed USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame. Ever the fashionista, Vida recently graced the cover of noted fashion magazine FVM Global Magazine twice as well as Shine On Hollywood Magazine and 1st Class Magazine and was quoted about her knowledge of red carpet fashion for the Oscars by US News and World Report. Vida was recently featured in Variety twice.
