Biography

Madhhu Sharma is an Indian actor, producer, and entrepreneur with a career spanning over two decades across multiple film industries, including Bhojpuri, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, and Hindi cinema. Known for her versatility and strong screen presence, she is among the few actors to have successfully built a pan-Indian career across diverse regional markets.

As an actor, she is widely recognized for her performances in films such as Ek Duje Ke Liye, Ghulam, Yoddha, Dulhe Raja, Maa Tujhe Salaam, Challenge, and Khiladi No. 1, among several others. Over the years, she has established herself as one of the leading faces of regional Indian cinema, earning both commercial success and audience acclaim.

Madhhu Sharma is also the Founder of Summit Studios, an independent production company focused on developing and producing culturally rooted stories with global appeal. Under her leadership, Summit Studios has collaborated on critically acclaimed projects that have been showcased at major international film festivals and platforms.

Her producer credits include Bayaan (2025), directed by Bikas Ranjan Mishra, and Vimukt (In Search of the Sky) (2025), directed by Jitank Singh Gurjar.

Bayaan premiered at the 50th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) and was later selected for the 30th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF). The film received development support from the Hubert Bals Fund (International Film Festival Rotterdam) and Film Independent’s Global Media Makers Program.

Vimukt (In Search of the Sky) premiered at the 50th Toronto International Film Festival, where it won the NETPAC Award for Best Asian Film. The film was subsequently selected for the Indian Panorama section of the 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI), competed for the ICFT-UNESCO Gandhi Medal, and received a Best Debut Film nomination at the 26th New York Indian Film Festival.
