Madhhu Sharma is an Indian actor, producer, and entrepreneur with a career spanning over two decades across multiple film industries, including Bhojpuri, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, and Hindi cinema. Known for her versatility and strong screen presence, she is among the few actors to have successfully built a pan-Indian career across diverse regional markets.
As an actor, she is widely recognized for her performances in films such as Ek Duje Ke Liye, Ghulam, Yoddha, Dulhe Raja, Maa Tujhe Salaam, Challenge, and Khiladi No. 1, among several others. Bayaan premiered at the 50th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) and was later selected for the 30th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF). The film received development support from the Hubert Bals Fund (International Film Festival Rotterdam) and Film Independent’s Global Media Makers Program.
Vimukt (In Search of the Sky) premiered at the 50th Toronto International Film Festival, where it won the NETPAC Award for Best Asian Film. The film was subsequently selected for the Indian Panorama section of the 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI), competed for the ICFT-UNESCO Gandhi Medal, and received a Best Debut Film nomination at the 26th New York Indian Film Festival.
