- Highly skilled at a variety of accents, languages, martial arts & motion capture has led to multiple BTVA nominations for voice over roles like Paine in FFX-2, Shinigami in TMNT, Yuma in FarCry4 and was the first female lead in the Socom series (Socom4).
- Her father was head of the National University of Singapore, her uncle was foreign minister of Singapore for over 20 years, her brother is head of molecular genetics at Cambridge University in England.
- Graduated from UCLA with a B.A. Degree prior to age 20.
- Graduated Summa Cum Laude from UCLA, and is a recipient of Phi Beta Kappa honors.
- She immigrated to the United States from Singapore at age 11.
- Graduated from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Earned a diploma in Classical Piano. Plays the Chinese Long Zither ("gu-zheng").
- Won APA (Asian Pacific Alumni) UCLA Alumni of the Year Award in 2017 for career achievement (Randall Park won in 2016, Ali Wong won in 2018).
- Graduated from high school at age 16.
- Was discovered by KCRW producers playing at a Chinese New Year party and invited her to do a 30minute one woman radio show accompanying herself on the Chinese Long Zither (The gu-zheng). She also opened up for Norwegian band "Ryokk Sopp" at the Ford Theatre in LA and offered a record deal before she chose to pursue acting full time.
