- Graduated from Brookwood High School in June 1997. In her years at Brookwood she was in many high school plays and musicals including "Tintypes", "Pippin", and "Working" among many others. She is also a talented singer and enjoyed her time in the school choir.
- Attended the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina.
- Graduated with BFA from North Carolina School of the Arts in 2003.
- Has two brothers, both of whom also acted in high school.
- Starring with Charles Edwards in the Broadway play "The 39 Steps" which runs until March 2008 at the American Airlines Theatre in New York City. (January 2008)
- Is the second child in her family.
