Sayo Onishi

Sayo Onishi was born and raised in Japan and has been based in Vancouver since 2021. After leaving her first career in the housing industry, she decided to pursue her unwavering lifelong goal of becoming an actress. She began her acting journey at United Performers' Studio in Tokyo and later moved to Vancouver to continue her training at New Image College, where she studied under esteemed instructors such as Philip Granger, Fei Ren, and Mauricio Romero. Her forte lies in playing grounded, caring, and serious characters, though she also enjoys tapping into her comedic side. Her television credits include a nurse role in Monarch: Legacy of the Monsters, along with appearances in several student films. Passionate about dance, she hopes to perform in musical theatre as part of her artistic career.
