Kristin Yancy

Kristin Yancy was born in Dallas, TX to two New Orleans/Baton Rouge area transplants. She is Mixed-Race, but predominately Black and Creole. Kristin graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a degree in Comparative Arts and minors in Writing and Design. She has trained in dance at Joffrey Ballet School NY and San Francisco Conservatory of Dance. She is now based in New York as an actor/dancer/singer, where she works in theatre, television, and film, and produces independent projects. Broadway credits include The Cher Show, opposite Tony award winner Stephanie J. Block, and Summer: The Donna Summer Musical, understudying Oscar winner Ariana DeBose/opposite Tony award winner LaChanze.
