Biography

Di Quon made her big screen debut as "Lily Kim" in the Columbia Pictures blockbuster Maid in Manhattan (2002) starring Jennifer Lopez.

Before becoming an actor, Di Quon modeled in New York City. She appeared on the album cover of Aerosmith's Young Lust album and modeled for streetwear brands Ecko Clothing, Undergirl Underwear and Three Stones. She transitioned into acting after being "The Most Beautiful Girl in the World" for Prince.

Di Quon was the co-founder of Konscious, a non-profit organization that streamed socially conscious documentaries, linking viewers into activism.

Is on the cover of the Aerosmith Album Cover - Young Lust (Geffen Release).

Had a daughter in May of 2013. Her and her daughter are in a Pampers print campaign together.

Was named "The Most Beautiful Girl in the World" by the Artist Formerly Known as Prince (who has since then resumed using the name Prince).

Produces and runs the planning committee for the Hope North Uganda charity gala each year.

As an Asian actress, I have felt that there are limited roles for me. Often times the roles offered are full of stereotypes. Because as a society we look towards media to show us our place within it, it meant a lot to me to create something positive that properly represents me and the Ethnic Minority Group I am part of. We tried to walk the fine line of keeping cultural identity without playing into stereotypes. ITVS/Independent Lens and PBS has been brave enough to give us a chance to show their viewers an honest perspective.
