Ashoka Thackur(I)

Ashoka Thackur is an accomplished Indian actor and producer from Jaipur, Rajasthan, currently based in Mumbai, who has built his career on passion, discipline, and an unshakable belief in the power of storytelling. His artistic journey began in theatre, where he immersed himself for over seven years, mastering his craft through rigorous training and countless stage performances. In 2017, he joined the prestigious Ekjute Theatre Group under Nadira Zahir Babar, performing plays across India for nearly five years. His debut stage play, Paramveer Chakra, marked the beginning of a promising career. Though circumstances kept him from formally enrolling in NSD, Ashoka refused to let this deter him. Instead, he self-studied NSD's chapters and trained under the mentorship of NSD graduates Napal Gautam (2014 batch) and Chetany Solanke (2016 batch), while also collaborating with renowned teachers and theatre groups, including the Chhau group in Kolkata under Manish Mitra. These experiences shaped his versatility, allowing him to adapt seamlessly to diverse roles.

In 2022, Ashoka transitioned into films, working with his sister's production house and contributing to projects like Luv You Shankar, starring Shreyas Talpade. His first acting breakthrough came with a short film where he portrayed multiple mythological characters-Ram, Hanuman, and Shiv. The project earned awards and later released on MX Player. Following this, he featured in his first two feature films, Rangeela Daruwala and Wat's Up, further establishing himself as a dynamic and versatile performer. Since then, he has appeared in over 25 music albums, short films, web series, advertisements, and feature films, earning recognition for his strong screen presence and dedication.
