- Christian Yu was born in Sydney, Australia. He attended Wollongong High School of the Performing Arts and played in a heavy metal band.
As a teenager, he decided to record and upload dance videos to YouTube under the name "B Boy B.yu" - his mother came up with this nickname to remind him to always "be you" - be yourself. In his early 20's, he set his heart on learning more about his Korean culture; therefore he relocated to South Korea, where he wanted to pursue dancing with as little money that he had. He was street cast by an entertainment agency. When he auditioned, he couldn't sing, however he successfully impress the judges during his audition with his dancing skills. He became a member of K-pop idol group called "C- Clown" under the stage name Rome, which was derived from his Korean name "Ba-rom". The group debuted in 2012; however it was disbanded in October 2015.
Christian, along with his friends Hong Dabin (DPR Live) and Kim Kyung-Mo (DPR Cream), established the label Dream Perfect Regime (DPR), which is located in Los Angeles, USA. He directs most of the music videos for his DPR friends and he writes, produces, directs and edits all of his own songs and music videos.

- Collaborated with CL from 2NE1, on her music video "Five Stars." CL's team contacted his team. He was suppose to be singing on "Five Stars," however he ended up just appearing in the video. He then asked CL to be part of his work. She sings and appears in the video for "So Beautiful" and features in "No Blueberries".
