Arrived in Australia from Britain in 1947. Worked in Sydney as an actor on stage and radio. Went to work for the ABC as a producer and director in Melbourne. Moved to Perth in 1961 where he directed a wide variety of programs, from drama to sport and variety. Married to Perdita Eldridge.
