Biography

Chico Ejiro was born in Isoko, Delta, Nigeria. He was a director and producer, known for When Dreams Fall Apart (2013), Emotional Pain (2003) and Computer Girls (2003). He was married to Joy C. Ejiro. He died on December 25, 2020 in Surulere, Lagos, Nigeria.

The foremost director of the New Nigerian Cinema, an industry originally created just to sell videocassettes.

Brother of Zeb Ejiro and Peter Red Ejiro.

Has never shot film. Prefers to shoot in the cheaper medium of video to keep down costs and speed up production times.

Often brags that he can complete production on a movie in as little as three days.

After seeing Whoopi Goldberg in Sister Act (1992), he named his production company after the Walt Disney Company's Touchtone Pictures.
