Nathen Durasamy is a British born Mauritian music composer. Nathen studied composition under John Ashton Thomas. Nathen was the first person in history to receive a grade of hundred per cent in composition at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.
Stephen Fry described Nathen's orchestral music as "complex and intelligent."
His orchestrations and arrangements have featured at the Royal Albert Hall on the BBC Proms and at the Brit Awards. He has worked in the pop world and orchestrated The Last Dinner Party’s second Album: ‘From The Pyre’ with Aurora Nishevci.
