Biography

John Pattyson is a director of the Directors Guild of America. He has led programming for CBS-TV, NBC-TV, ABC-TV, FOX-TV, HBO, TLC, Discovery, Showtime, TBS, Lifetime, ESPN, and the Tennis Channel. He has produced behind-the-scene for hundreds of Hollywood's biggest films and interviewed hundreds of celebrities from film, music, TV and sports. He has also produced and directed promotional music videos for Will Smith, Barbara Streisand, and Tina Turner.

Pattyson is Executive Producer of Immersive Media, a world leader in 360 degree film making. Clients include Google, AFG, Will.I.Am, Discovery, CNN, Intel, and Audi. He is also President of Digital Smoke Media, which produces online animated commercials and videos for small and medium sized businesses. His company also processes media buys to distribute content on the Web.

John Pattyson is Founder and CEO of Orionnnation, an online celebrity platform that offers verified and authentic content from public figures and stars of TV, film, music, sports, entertainment.

Pattyson has made important contributions to the television and film industry. He pioneered creation of Electronic Press Kits (EPK's). John was also executive producer and host of the Entertainment Division of UStream.TV, a leader in live, interactive streaming on the Internet. UStream.TV was the first company to host red-carpet premieres online with a global audience, and to introduce this technology to Hollywood.

John Pattyson is winner of the UPI National Sportscaster Award, and three Emmys. His work in "The Doctors" received an Emmy nomination in 2009, and an Emmy award in 2010. Pattyson also produced, directed, and wrote two award-winning television specials for Dreamworks" "Gladiator" (HBO & TLC).
