  • Dionne Imani Harper was born in the state of Pennsylvania and city of Philadelphia on August 30, 1976. At the age of three Dionne attended settlement music school. There, she took lessons in violin, the flute, piano, and preschool performing arts. After 2 years of settlement music school, she then graduated and attended the Philadelphia public school system. Harper became interested in performing arts. She played several roles in her school stage plays. Music class where her favorite. As her years advanced in George Washington Nebinger school, she made monologues and wrote poems for her class Friday's curriculum class talents. Everyone enjoyed her creativity. Dionne attended the Mummers Museum Club where she acted in their parades during the holiday seasons. During each summer she attended Mother Bethal church for summer camp and Lutheran Baptist Church for cooking classes, and arts and crafts.

    At the age of 13 Dionne's life took a turn. Her focus in entertainment last for a short while thereafter. She always knew that it was still in her because she would mimic movie scripts. Dionne would also write poems and short stories spontaneously. Harper loves to laugh. She is a natural comedian. She also enjoys making others laugh. That's something she is known for along with her bubbly spirit.

    At the age of 18 Dionne took the path of health care throughout her twenties up to her forties. She attended Community College of Philadelphia and other technical training schools. She obtained a nursing assistant certification and an Associate's degree in business administration. During the first few years of her health care journey, she worked for several insurance companies through temp agencies. Moving from desk to industrial labor, she worked as a certified nurse assistant in varies of hospitals, nursing homes, and rehabilitation centers. Dionne also had her place in home care.

    At the age of 26 Dionne turned her life over to the Lord, where she began a personal relationship with God.

    In her mid 30's entertainment became a rekindled fire in her life. She began promoting productions for other actors and actresses. Dionne took a number of acting classes at the Walnut street theater and a few acting on screen classes with Marc John Jefferies who stars in (Losing Isaiah, Brotherly love, 50 Cent and more) Dionne has performed in her former church's Easter play. In November/2014 she played the role as a police officer in the movie Jenna Remembers. In 2015 she has also worked on varies of independent films in her city. At the very beginning of 2016 Her heart was broken from the loss of her mother. Moving forward Dionne worked with John Graves productions in a stage play called Moses as an Egyptian. Also, she worked on two projects from DEU productions, a stage play called Witness and a film named Have you seen her. As of 2021 Dionne is pursuing her passion in a career as an actress. She is also a writer and working towards print modeling work. Her goal is to produce, film direct and cinematography.
