Streaming Stars, Then and Now

Sameer Dharmadhikari is a prominent Indian film and television actor and model, widely recognized for his work across the Hindi and Marathi entertainment industries. Born in Pune, he initially pursued a career as a hydraulic machine designer while engaging in local theater before transitioning to modeling and professional acting in Mumbai.

He gained significant critical acclaim for his lead role in the Marathi film Nirop, which won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Marathi. Dharmadhikari is well-known to television audiences for his portrayals of historical and mythological figures, most notably as Samrat Bindusara Maurya in Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat and King Shantanu in Mahabharat. His other major television credits include Jhansi Ki Rani, Buddha, Peshwa Bajirao, and Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke.

In cinema, he has appeared in a variety of Hindi films such as Satta, Raincoat, Mumbai Meri Jaan, Singham Returns, and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. His contributions to Marathi cinema are equally extensive, with performances in films like Lalbaug Parel, Samaantar, Fatteshikast, Pawankhind, and Sher Shivraj. More recently, he has expanded into the digital space with roles in web series such as Mum Bhai and Scam 2003: The Telgi Story. Before his rise in acting, he was a successful model for major brands including Raymond Suitings, Vimal Suitings, and De Beers. Sameer Dharmadhikari is married to Aparna Dharmadhikari, a film producer.
