In theatre her first star role was in David Auburn's "Proof" in the role of Claire, directed by the great Greek director Konstantinos Arvanitakis in 2002. Since then she has performed in more than 20 stage productions in the lead role; among others in Sophocles "Electra", Anton Chekhov's "Three Sisters", Noel Coward's "Design for living", Carlo Goldoni's "The Servant of Two Masters", Eugene Ionesco's "The Bald Soprano" etc.

In "Mystika tis Edem" (2008-2011) with her star role as Eva Haritou, Fay became extremely popular in Greece -and abroad- and one of Greece's most sought after leading women. Moreover, the series was aired with success in Cyprus, Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania, Kazakhstan, Armenia, and in Dubai, Iran, Iraq, United Arab Emirates and Afghanistan through FARSI1 channel.

Now, Fay Xyla after having starred in more than 25 Greek TV-series and films, is having her international debut co-starring in the Dutch-Morrocan film "Water of love".
