Biography

Naomi Mechem-Miller is a makeup and SFX artist based out of Bothell, WA. They co-own and run Real Fiction Studios with their partner Jason Brooks, and work on a variety of projects, ranging from short films to feature films across all genres. Naomi also acts, produces, writes, and has worked in both costume and art departments. Most notably, Naomi and Jason co-wrote and produced The Death of Snow White, where Naomi led a team of 8 makeup artists throughout the production. Naomi’s favorite genres to work on are horror, science fiction, and fantasy, as they love designing and applying character and creature makeups as well as realistic trauma makeups and blood effects. They love applying prosthetics and also specialize in fabricating realistic silicone body parts and props.
