Bryant Reid is an award winning entertainment industry executive, television producer, consultant, entrepreneur and philanthropist with more than 30 years of experience in music, media and entertainment. He served as Senior Vice President of A&R at both LaFace Records and Atlantic Records and played an important behind-the-scenes role in Atlanta’s emergence as a major center of contemporary music.

During his tenure at LaFace Records, Reid discovered Usher in Atlanta and helped secure his record deal with the label. He also contributed to the development of Toni Braxton’s multi-platinum debut album, helping assemble writers, producers and creative collaborators for the project. His A&R responsibilities included work connected to major artists and projects involving TLC, OutKast, Donell Jones and others. Reid also helped bring producers and creative talent into the LaFace organization, including Jermaine Dupri and Vincent Herbert. During the label’s rise in the 1990s, Reid received the LaFace Records Most Valuable Executive Award.

At Atlantic Records, Reid signed Tamar Braxton and The Braxtons. The Braxtons’ recording of "The Boss," originally made famous by Diana Ross, reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Dance Club Songs chart.

Reid later expanded into television, creating and executive producing "B Street Live" for Turner Broadcasting’s regional cable network Turner South. The weekly music and entertainment series featured emerging and established artists, including CeeLo Green, Rasheeda Frost and Montell Jordan.

He is also the founder of HITLANTA®, an entertainment, media and cultural brand inspired by Atlanta’s music, influence and global impact. The brand encompasses radio, apparel, original programming, artist interviews, live events and other entertainment properties.

In 2018, Reid founded The Reid Foundation for Lupus®, a nonprofit organization dedicated to lupus awareness, advocacy, research support, patient resources and improved outcomes for people living with the disease. His community and philanthropic work has included national media appearances, public education initiatives and partnerships focused on underserved communities.

Reid’s honors include the President’s Lifetime Achievement Award, bearing the signature of President Joe Biden; a commission as a Kentucky Colonel from Governor Andy Beshear; the Phenomenal Women’s Health Community Service Award; and the LaFace Records Most Valuable Executive Award.
