Jaywant Wadkar

Jaywant Wadkar is a prominent Indian actor who has established a prolific career in both the Hindi and Marathi film industries. He made his professional screen debut in the 1988 Hindi blockbuster Tezaab and simultaneously entered the Marathi film industry with Ek Gadi Baki Anadi. Over more than three decades, he has become a well-known character actor, frequently portraying roles ranging from intense antagonists to comedic supporting figures.

Wadkar is widely recognized for his performances in several high-profile Bollywood films, including the critically acclaimed Sarfarosh, Maqbool, A Wednesday!, Johnny Gaddaar, and Baby. His ability to inhabit diverse roles has made him a reliable fixture in major productions, working alongside some of the industry's most respected directors. More recently, he has appeared in Hindi projects like Agni and the 2025 release Sky Force.

In the Marathi entertainment world, his presence is equally significant. He has appeared in numerous popular films such as Navra Maza Navsacha, Poshter Girl, Thackeray, and Jaggu Ani Juliet.
