  • Andrea Paasch Marholds a Master's degree in Arts Administration and Cultural Policy from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC). Her experience spans the management, curating, and production of large-scale cultural exhibitions and projects, as well as production and screenwriting of documentary feature films.

    From 2017 to 2019, she served as the Deputy Director at the Tamayo Museum in Mexico City, where she previously worked as Coordinator of Exhibitions and International Projects. From 2008 to 2015, she led the executive direction of the BBVA-Museo de Arte Carrillo Gil Program, a biennial grant for emerging artists focused on artistic research and production.

    Her recent film projects include producing the documentary Loss Adjustment (2024, international premiere at IDFA, Envision Competition); The Holy Triad (in post-production); screenwriting and producing Gaman. The History of Tattooing in Japan (in post-production); and screenwriting of the documentary Private Network: Who Killed Manuel Buendía? (2021, Netflix). She was also the producer and screenwriter of the cultural television programs Broadband on Mexico's Canal 22 and Ómnibus on Canal Once.
