Sayali Salunkhe is a Marathi film and television actress.Born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, Sayali is the daughter of Suchita and Santosh. Driven by a passion for acting, she completed an acting diploma from "SRM Film School" in Pune. SRM is an acting and film-making school that provides training and practical experience through industry opportunities.Following her course completion, Sayali entered the modeling field, participating in various photoshoots in Mumbai and featuring in several television commercials and advertisements. In 2017, she participated in the pageant Maharashtra Times Shravan Queen, a popular contest for young girls in Maharashtra, and was crowned the winner of the 2017 edition.Her beauty pageant victory marked a significant turning point, leading her into the television industry. She made her television debut in 2018 with the Marathi serial Chatriwali, portraying the main character's sister on Star Pravah. She also took on the prominent role of Jothikah in the Marathi family drama serial Sukh Manje Nakki Kay Asta on the same channel. Sayali has also worked in Hindi television, depicting the character of Kirti Rao in the series Mehndi Hai Rachnewaali.Sayali made her film debut as the lead character in the Marathi film Eghan, which focused on the day-to-day struggles and difficult life of farmers. She has also acted in the short, seven-episode Marathi web series Full Tight, a family entertainer on Sony Liv centered on parents dealing with their children.
