Roberto Sanchez is currently recurring in the Netflix series Running Point as Stephen Ramirez, and in the upcoming Apple TV+ series Cape Fear as Ruben Ramirez, opposite Javier Bardem and Amy Adams.
He recently appeared in recurring roles on BMF as "Loco," Palm Royale as "Pinky," and Dexter: Original Sin as Tony Ferrer.
The Cuban actor also wrote the story for the feature film "72 Hours," an action crime-thriller developed for the big screen by Christian Sesma and Sean Crayne. The film will co-star Sam Trammell (True Blood) and Cam Gigandet (The O.C.).
Sanchez is known for memorable roles on hit television series including The Resident, The Family Business, S.W.A.T., MacGyver, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Chicago P.D., and Queen of the South, among more than 130 film and television projects. His breakout role came in 2 Fast 2 Furious, directed by John Singleton, opposite Eva Mendes and Paul Walker.
As a director, Sanchez’s films "The Terms of Us" and "Heroes" were award-winning festival favorites. The Terms of Us later secured distribution on ShortsTV, while Heroes is currently being developed into a television pilot.
In 2016, he received an Imagen Award nomination for Best Actor for his lead performance in the film Lake Los Angeles.
