Omar Metwally is an American actor who has appeared in numerous films and television programs. He is best known for his work on Showtime's The Affair (2014), as well as for film roles in Steven Spielberg's Munich, Julian Schnabel's Miral and many others. He was born in Queens, New York and raised in Orange County, California. Metwally gained a BA in History from the University of California, Berkeley and a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from the American Conservatory Theater, San Francisco.
