- Ludo Leroy was born in 1950 in Mortsel, Flanders, Belgium. He is an actor, known for Slisse & Cesar (1977), De paradijsvogels (1979) and Transport (1983).
- Ludo Leroy was trained as an actor with Studio Herman Teirlinck, before working for a number of theatre companies, small and large, in Flanders and the Netherlands.
- Since 1983 he has lived in Denmark, where he has worked as an actor, director and theatre pedagogue and, later on, as the initiator of social and humanitarian projects.
- As a translator of Flemish and Dutch literature, he works together with the Danish writer Nina Malinovsky. His translations include works by Rindert Kromhout, Paul van Loon, Anne Provoost, Louis Paul Boon, Willem Elsschot and Dimitri Verhulst.
