    Many of his works, seen on major networks and platforms such as HBO, Showtime, PBS, BBC, National Geographic, The New York Times, The New Yorker, Hulu, and Netflix, have received high praise. Writing in Artforum, iconoclastic filmmaker John Waters lauded Marina Abramovic: The Artist is Present as "maybe the most perfect documentary ever made about an artist," while Godfrey Cheshire of RogerEbert hailed Rich Hill as "a documentary to rank alongside such classics about indigence and family as 'Grey Gardens' and 'Hoop Dreams.'" Most recently, Variety's Clayton Davis praised American Symphony as "quite possibly one of the best love stories seen on film in over two decades."
