Biography

Nick Launay was born in London, England, UK. He is known for Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure (1989), The Cable Guy (1996) and Plush (2013).

Father of Australian based Director & Production Designer Lee Launay.

Launay has produced award winning international artists such as: Arcade Fire, Kate Bush, Talking Heads, David Byrne, Lou Reed, Gotye, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, INXS, Midnight Oil, Eric Clapton, Sting, Grinderman, Johnny Marr, Supergrass, and Silverchair.

Nick Launay collaborated with fellow musician Ming Vauz while scoring Catherine Hardwicke's movie; Plush (2013).

Nick Launay lives in LA and travels to London frequently.
