Brandon Blight was born in Cape Town, South Africa. After finding his love for Cinematography through riding BMX bikes, he went on to graduate at City Varsity, majoring in Cinematography and lighting with an Advanced Diploma.
Since then, Brandon has worked on many productions, ranging from Music videos, Short Films, Documentaries, Social Pieces to Commercials. Brandon has a strong understanding of performance, and always makes sure there is integrity and reason behind his camera movements. He believes one can never stop learning and is constantly searching for new ways to understand the incredible, ever-developing concept of lighting.
As a versatile, creative and hands-on cinematographer, he is able take on any project that comes his way and always puts quality first.
