  • François-Régis Jeanne got his start by interviewing directors for TV (Sophia Coppola, Spike Lee, William Friedkin, Barry Levinson, Olivier Stone) He then directed a series of documentaries on French filmmakers like Michel Audiard, Francis Veber, Jean-Jacques Annaud, Fred Cavayé and Olivier Marchal "Who wants to frame Olivier Marchal?" ("deserves a Cesar award" according to JDD), the public acclaimed documentary "Looking for Istanbul" with and produced by Eric Cantona and the cult "Fucking Kassoviz", considered as a milestone on the differences between French and American cultures of movie-making. After studying screenwriting in UCLA, he developed long feature projects each time in a different "genre".

  • Before directing "Fucking Kassovitz", the « cult » behind the scene documentary of the multicultural blockbuster « Babylon AD », François-régis Jeanne started by interviewing American directors (Sophia Coppola, Spike Lee, William Friedkin, Barry Levinson, Olivier Stone) then directed documentaries on French talents: Michel Audiard, Francis Veber, Jean-Jacques Annaud, Fred Cavayé, Michel Hazanavicius and Olivier Marchal "Who wants to frame Olivier Marchal?" ("deserves a Cesar award", JDD). He co-wrote the hip hop movie « Break » with Sabrina Ouazani (now on Netflix) and co-wrote and directed the feminine comedy « Sisterhood » released in 2018. He is now preparing the comedy « Last of rope » for Full Time Studios (« Meander ») and « Quantified » the sci-fi "film noir" around a connected device called LifeWatch for Curiosa Films (« Illusions Perdues » and « Stars at noon »)
