- Kan Ah-yen (or Gan A Yan, 1895-1974), born in Yilan County, Taiwan, was the magistrate of Yilan County, Taiwan (1954-1958). He was the grandfather of Taiwanese film director Benjamin Gan. Kan Ah-yen was in the films "Leo in the City" (2010) and "Your Clock" (Also known as "Shi Zhong Ji", 2017). Both films were directed by Benjamin Gan.
