Biography

Martyn Harries is known for Massive Nature (2004), The Life of Birds (1998) and Madagascar (2011).

Currently lecturing at the University of the West of England.

Martyn plays trumpet with a variety of bands around the Bristol area.

Martyn studied music at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, took a post graduate teaching course at University College Cardiff and joined the BBC Audio Unit in Bristol in 1983. He was attached to BBC Children's Television briefly in 1989 working on a series called What's That Noise as a Researcher and Assistant Producer.
