  • On September 12, 1994, Gurnavdeep Singh was born in Patiala, Punjab, India. Gurnavdeep began his professional life as a theatre performer and singer. He has worked extensively as a theatre actor in Punjab (2011-2015) and Delhi(2016) with several reputed groups, including Kshitij Theatre Group, Little Theatre Group, and Little Creative Mind Entertainment. He got his first limelight in theatre through the play "Makhichoos" directed by Pranav Sachdev, starring Govardhan Asrani. His first camera work was in the Punjabi industry with Punjab's most extensive wedding web series, "Disha di Wedding"(2020). His entry into the Hindi cinema industry was signaled by the series Sunflower (2021), directed by Vikas Bahl and Rahul Sengupta. Gurnavdeep Singh appeared in docuseries with Netflix, "Indian Predator: The Diary of a Serial Killer (2022)." He got his first break with the Punjabi movie "Criminal (2022)", directed by Garinder Sidhu and produced by Gippy Grewal, made under the banner of Big Daddy Films and latest movie released is Paune 9 (2023)," directed by Baljeet Noor. He was also the part of Hindi language comedy-drama web series "Good Bad Girl (2022)". His upcoming project is, "Oye Bhole Oye (2024)," due soon. A native of Punjab, Gurnavdeep studied at Shri Dasmesh Public School and Multani Mal Modi College in Patiala. He majored in Punjabi literature and Music. He has a master's in Theatre from the Academy of Theatre Arts, University of Mumbai. Gurnavdeep's artistic development has been one of the most natural, moving from theatre to television to the big screen.
