Biography

Rytchie Saint James Smith is an independent 2D animator and video editor, with Associates in Studio Arts, Arts & Humanities and Social and Behavioral Sciences, also commonly known from their animations, Freshy Kanal, "I spent a day with AUTISTIC PEOPLE" by Anthony Padilla, and from family members such as Justice Smith and Cameo Adele!

The name "Rytchie" is a nickname turned into personal name, once transitioning to Nonbinary, per suggestion from Rytchis's sister, Cameo Adele. The reason why they're Rytchie while "RobotRichie" is spelled differently is to differentiate between the two names and to stand out from all the "Richie" and "Ritchie" nicknames. Rytchie started out having such a passion for animation, when introduced to Cinema 4D by an old elementary school friend (2009). Since graphics design was too difficult for me at the time, they branched off to using Game Maker and creating video games. Once creating the games, they realized how fun it was to create the characters more than coding the games. Since then, they branched off to do animation on Macromedia Flash 8 on Newgrounds.com. Passions, while still there for animation, changed to film, due to getting personal inspiration from seeing family members on the big screen.

Rytchie migrated majors from animation to film, due to having a bigger passion creating and editing stories, rather than drawing. Since then, from being a 1.7 GPA student (due to personal financial issues, such as homelessness), they've advanced to be a 3.3 GPA student. They've picked up other Adobe Creative Cloud programs and have worked with several YouTubers in the past, such as Freshy Kanal (starting 2020).
