Shawn is a graduate of the Berklee College Of Music in Boston and has studied at the New England Conservatory. He attended Berklee on scholarship, majored in Film Scoring and is a recipient of the Doug Timm Professional Writing Division Award. Passionately focused in television, you can see his work on FX Network's critically acclaimed, Peabody award winning drama "The Bridge," CTV/ABC's crime series "Motive" and the long running SYFY/Showcase fan favorite "Haven," the Global/ION worldwide hit "Private Eyes" (Jason Priestley/Cindy Samson) and Netflix horror series "Slasher."

Known also for his work in the world of recorded music as a prolific record producer, he now adds music for podcast to the resume - most notably Gen-Z's "The Unexplainable Disappearance of Mars Patel." This series and Shawn earned a Peabody Award in 2016. Alongside an extensive list of scoring, music editorial and album credits is a growing list of podcast music credits. As a composer, producer, songwriter, performer or engineer Shawn has received a Grammy nomination, 2 Peabody Awards, 7 Juno awards, 22 Juno nominations plus 2 WCMAs and 12 WCMA nominations.
