Weerasak Saengdee is a director and screenwriter. He is known for directing the music video "Jumbo Membo" by the artist Vitamin A (1999), the commercial "Birthday" for the Thai Eye Donation Center, and the television drama "Doctor Ngoun: Saengdao of Faith," which received the Golden Television Award. He is regarded as one of the new wave television drama creators who brought cinematic techniques to TV production.
In 2015, Veerasak directed the short film "Ee Khee Kook," which won an Asian Television Award. This film was produced as an alternative to traditional TV commercials (TVCs), which often require large budgets for production and distribution. The success of this project sparked a trend in short film production in Thailand.
