Biography

Aidan Bryant

Mini bio

  • Aidan is a self-taught aerialist from Virginia. At the age of 14, he was inspired by a video of P!nk's concert where she used a silk in her performance. Aidan then grabbed Grandma's bedsheet and hung it in the tree and began flipping. Later, he was gifted a real aerial silk to hang in the tree. As he watched more videos, he practiced different moves and drops. He then bought a tripod rig and Lyra hoop and began watching videos to teach himself the Lyra hoop. Aidan also began practicing contortion, hand balancing and foot archery without any dance or gymnastic experience.

In December 2020, he decided to audition virtually for America's Got Talent season 16 where he was then chosen to perform a live audition in Pasadena in front of the judges in April 2021. He received his 4 "yes's", and made it to the live shows in August 2021 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. He made it through round after round to the finals where he came in 2nd place. Aidan is the first aerialist in AGT history to come in 2nd place. Each of his routines were on different apparatuses including the straps, sphere, and hammock silk. His videos can be found on America's Got Talent YouTube channel.

He was then asked to be a guest on The Ellen Show in October 2021 where he choreographed his entire routine on the sphere apparatus while traveling on the plane for this last minute guest appearance. Ellen DeGeneres introduced him as "The Incredible Aidan Bryant".

Aidan loves to perform and is hoping for many opportunities in the future to share his talent. He choreographs his own routines to different music selections based on what the venue is looking for. Many of Aidan's performances and interviews can be found on the internet.

    _______________________________________

"Aidan, I did that because I don't think a standing ovation is big enough. You are unbelievably talented... Every week you risk your life. Your creativity is off the chart. This is honestly one of the best live performances we have ever seen.

    • Simon Cowell

"That's what a ballet person does! You're amazing!" It is insane how good you are."

    • Ellen Degeneres
