Biography

Angela Hamilton is an award-winning writer, director, editor, and producer. She is co-founder of Cosmic Wave Films, a boutique indie production house known for producing smart films with charming ensemble casts and stories that pack a punch.

Prior to working in film, Angela established her presence in the DC comedy scene, performing in venues across the Mid-Atlantic and placing third at Pretty Funny Entertainment's showcase at Greenwich Village Comedy Club in NYC. She held a residency at the famed Busboys and Poets in Washington, DC, producing a monthly showcase that highlighted women and non-binary comedians. She is a former writer and performer with Laugh Index Theater.
