Founding partner at Essential Film Group. James began his career working at Mel Gibson's Icon Entertainment. Since then he has headed up sales at Capitol Films, The Salt Company and AMP. In the course of his career he has handled a diverse range of films including blockbusters What Women Want, The Passion Of The Christ, Apocalypto, and other critical and commercial successes such as Before The Devil Knows You're Dead, Edge Of Love, An Ideal Husband and Miss You Already. More recently he has handled genre breakouts Anna And the Apocalypse, The Wretched (No 1 at the US box office) and Murder At Yellowstone City.
