Sara Sepulcri is an Italian visual artist, filmmaker, writer, and researcher. She graduated from the International Center of Photography in New York, trained in documentary at the University of London, and studied History and Politics at the University of Bologna, where she also pursued research on madness and communication. Her work explores climate change, migration, perception, and the relationship between human and nonhuman life. She examines how trauma, displacement, and environmental transformation affect bodies, landscapes, and forms of transmission across generations, with particular attention to memory, language, gesture, and sound. Her practice moves across visual art and cinema, focusing on the material and sensory conditions through which images and sounds shape experience.
