- Matilda Firth was born in Leeds, West Yorkshire, and is the middle child of 3. Her first lead role came at only 6 years old when she starred in the 2021 McDonald's UK Christmas commercial ‘Imaginary Iggy’ directed by Bert and Bertie.
Over the next few years Matilda was cast in a wide range of TV and film projects including Disney's Disenchanted, Vampire Academy, Sky's Christmas Carole and the BBC’s acclaimed prison drama Time. Matilda played the role of Sophie in the popular mini-series Coma, and Mille-Jo Castleton in the ground breaking true story Mr Bates vs The Post Office. She also played the role of Grace across 2 seasons of Hullraisers and joined the cast of the second season of Nine Perfect Strangers.
Movie roles include the role of Isla in the movie Subservience starring Megan Fox, and the role of Ginger in Blumhouse's and Universal's Wolf Man, directed by Leigh Whannell.
More recently Matilda was cast as Emma in Sky’s Christmas movie Tinsel Town, which included contributing to the soundtrack.
