Tavi Castro was born in Guadalajara, Mexico, before his family emigrated to Edmonton, Canada, when he was four. A lifelong athlete, he played midfield for the Canadian Youth National Soccer Team and pursued a professional soccer career in the Netherlands . At 18, he transitioned from soccer to academics, earning a bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from TU Delft and pursuing a master's in the same field.
Career
After shifting from professional soccer, Castro built a reputation in bodybuilding and fitness. He won multiple international titles, including the 2012 Musclemania Britain Junior, Musclemania Europe Junior, and Musclemania World Model Overall.
In 2016, Castro launched his career in electronic music, signing with Spinnin' Records. His debut track "Survive" broke into Spotify's Global Viral Top 50 and gained support from Martin Garrix, Tiësto, and Dimitri Vegas.
